Finance Controller – Alabang (Hybrid)

About the role

The Finance Controller IC will oversee daily accounting operations that support the organization’s financial activities. Working from Alabang with a hybrid schedule, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and smooth execution of client funding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily client funding activities and process transactions accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare and post journal entries while meeting reporting deadlines.
• Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations for client settlement activities in line with GAAP and company policies.
• Manage non‑funding settlement tasks such as merchant adjustments, cardholder research, and suspense account clearing.
• Process wire‑transfer requests for off‑cycle payments to merchants, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly analytical reviews of settlement‑related general ledger accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and ensure timely clearance of outstanding items.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Develop and present weekly and monthly financial dashboards and management reports.
• Update process documentation, job aids, and training materials to reflect policy changes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least one year of accounting experience, or a minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands‑on experience with journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and month‑end close activities.
• Familiarity with GAAP and company accounting policies.
