Family Lawyer – Associate Position

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Family Lawyer to join our growing practice across North Queensland. You will work closely with senior family lawyers, handling complex and high‑value matters, particularly in property settlement, while contributing to business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including property settlements.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers for mentorship and guidance.
• Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the case lifecycle.
• Participate in business development activities to promote the firm across the region.
• Represent the firm in networking events and referral circles.

Required profile

• A genuine passion for family law and a commitment to a long‑term career in the field.
• Willingness to take ownership of matters and learn from senior practitioners.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed and accountable under pressure.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with staff, clients, and referrers.
