Estimator

About the role

The Estimator will examine project plans, create sub‑packages and collaborate with local and Australian teams to deliver competitive tender packages for the client.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender packages and plans from Project Managers and break down scopes into sub‑tenders such as electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting, joinery, glazing, mechanical, etc.
• Issue sub‑tenders to contractors, collect and analyse pricing to ensure completeness, competitiveness and multiple quotes.
• Coordinate with the team to verify all scopes, summaries and tender packages before distribution.
• Collate and summarise the final package for review with the Project Manager prior to client presentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in estimating or quantity surveying.
• Proficiency in reading architectural, structural and MEPS plans.
• Experience in the construction or building retail industry, handling scopes of work and quantity take‑offs.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to perform detailed calculations and mathematical analysis.
