Enterprise Architect

About the role

The Union Bank of the Philippines is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to align business and IT strategies, drive architectural excellence, and support the bank’s digital transformation. The role will be based at UnionBank Plaza in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT strategy.
• Review and assess solution architectures for compliance with design principles.
• Develop and refine architecture artifacts that guide strategic decision‑making.
• Craft and maintain an architecture roadmap toward target‑state capabilities.
• Manage the architecture repository and oversee IT investment strategies across subsidiaries.
• Monitor emerging technologies and trends to foster innovation.
• Benchmark capabilities against peers to inform prioritisation and strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of industry experience with a technical background, including at least 2 years in an architecture role.
• Strong understanding of TOGAF or a comparable enterprise architecture framework.
• Deep knowledge of banking capabilities, processes, and the Philippine regulatory environment.
• Experience delivering transformation programmes and familiarity with banking reference architectures is a plus.
