Engineering Officer

About the role

The Engineering Officer will lead heat‑treatment operations across our manufacturing sites, ensuring that all processes meet quality, food‑safety and regulatory requirements. This role works closely with production, quality, maintenance and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee heat‑treatment processes to guarantee compliance with quality, food‑safety and regulatory standards.
• Plan, coordinate and execute projects aimed at improving heat‑treatment efficiency and overall process optimisation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance and other stakeholders to align project goals.
• Monitor process parameters, analyse data and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead small‑scale projects, trials, upgrades and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare reports, documentation and presentations for management and auditors.
• Support plant troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for heat‑treated products, and travel to different manufacturing plants as required.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or related field).
• 5‑6 years of relevant experience, or 4‑10 years in coordination, planning and project activities.
• Strong analytical ability with a track record of turning findings into actionable plans.
• Experience leading or supporting projects is preferred.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and execution‑focused.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and travel to multiple plant locations.
