About the role
The EMEA Tax Specialist will support Xerox entities across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region by ensuring compliance with statutory tax requirements and optimizing tax processes. This entry‑level, individual‑contributor position works closely with tax colleagues, business units and corporate functions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tax computations and handle filing and payment of tax returns for assigned Xerox entities.
- Provide required information to tax auditors and consultants during audits.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for compliance checks.
- Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations and tax roll‑forward analysis for assigned tax accounts.
- Perform month‑end close activities for assigned tax accounts.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company.
- Support internal teams on tax‑related matters for contracts, transactions and projects.
- Assist the Tax Manager on special projects as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge and experience in taxation.
- CPA license preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with moderate guidance and follow established policies.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
