Electrical Design Engineer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will work on a variety of projects across high‑rise, commercial, residential, healthcare and industrial sectors, ensuring electrical systems meet local regulations and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop complete electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, earthing and lightning protection.
- Create detailed drawings, schematics and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks.
- Perform electrical calculations such as load analysis, short‑circuit, voltage drop and cable sizing.
- Prepare comprehensive design documents, specifications, schedules and technical reports.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate systems seamlessly.
- Provide technical guidance to external stakeholders throughout design and coordination.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of electrical design experience, preferably on Middle‑East projects.
- Filipino citizenship or legal right to work in the Philippines.
- Experience with building services projects across various sectors.
Required skills
- AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM360.
- Dialux, Dialux Evo, Amtech Design Pro for lighting calculations.
- Electrical load, short‑circuit, voltage‑drop and cable‑sizing calculations.
- Knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Life & Safety, NFPA and other international standards.
