Director, People Partner

About the role

The People Director for MITDC Philippines will lead the development and execution of a forward‑looking talent strategy that supports the organization’s digital, operational and cultural transformation. Reporting to senior leadership, this role partners across functions to shape succession planning, talent management, change initiatives and employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver a People strategy aligned with MITDC’s growth and digital transformation agenda.
• Advise leadership on organizational effectiveness, culture building, leadership development and workforce transformation.
• Oversee People operations and advisory support for all functions, ensuring a consistent, technology‑enabled employee experience.
• Shape workforce plans for engineering, technology and digital roles and collaborate with talent acquisition to build pipelines for emerging tech skills.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive large‑scale change initiatives such as digital adoption, Agile ways of working and capability uplift.
• Represent MITDC in global and regional People forums and work with global COEs to harmonise processes and elevate service standards.
• Leverage people analytics, AI‑enabled insights and HR technology to inform talent strategy, workforce planning and cost‑efficient processes.
• Ensure full compliance with labour, governance and regulatory requirements in line with global standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead People functions within a complex matrix organization with regional and global reporting lines.
• Strong understanding of technology delivery centre operations, shared‑services economics and digital workforce dynamics.
• Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into actionable People initiatives.
• Track record of influencing senior leaders, shaping multi‑year change programs and building trust across global teams.
• Growth mindset with knowledge of people technologies, automation impacts, skills‑based workforce planning and data‑driven decision making.
