Director of Manufacturing

About the role

The Director of Manufacturing leads the entire manufacturing operation, ensuring product volume, quality, timeliness, and safety while meeting financial targets. This senior position oversees production planning, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate production activities to maintain smooth workflow and meet scheduled output.
• Monitor quality, material consumption, and traceability across all manufacturing areas.
• Ensure achievement of KPIs, including yields, man‑hour efficiency, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with PPIC and other departments on Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) and stock‑to‑order fulfillment.
• Lead CAPEX projects that enhance productivity, expand capacity, and introduce new capabilities.
• Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Integrated Management System (IMS) across production lines.
• Champion HACCP/FSSC certification, Lean Manufacturing initiatives, and continuous process innovation.
• Oversee equipment, utilities, and facility maintenance for maximum utilization.
• Manage all production‑related projects, including new product introductions and equipment installations.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in large‑scale manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to coach and develop direct reports and third‑party service providers.
• Experience reviewing and optimizing organizational structures to align with operational goals.
• Track record of evaluating performance and implementing development plans.
