Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

About the role

The FP&A Director will lead financial planning and analysis for a BPO/shared services organization, providing data‑driven insights that enhance decision‑making, profitability, and resource allocation. This senior position requires strong leadership, advanced analytical abilities, and deep expertise in financial modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly management reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and advanced financial models for programs, clients, and initiatives.
• Analyze profitability metrics such as seat utilization, gross margins, and activity‑based costing.
• Design and maintain dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI and other BI platforms.
• Conduct variance analyses (budget vs. actual) and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership to align financial plans with organizational goals.
• Drive process improvements through automation and lean accounting principles.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Present variance analysis findings to the CFO and executive leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of FP&A experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a BPO or shared services environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean accounting, activity‑based costing, and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to work in Cebu City and on a graveyard shift.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with Hyperion.
• Experience using TM1.
• Proficiency with Power BI.
• Experience with Power Automate.
• Familiarity with AI tools for financial analysis.
