DevOps Cloud Engineer – AWS & GCP

About the role

Globe is looking for a Cloud Computing Engineer specialized in AWS and Google Cloud Platform. You will join the Cloud Engineering Tribe within the Architecture and Engineering team, collaborating with Platform, DevOps, SRE and DevSecOps teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline cloud operations.
• Design and implement green‑field cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP.
• Continuously evaluate and improve automation and DevOps processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application stakeholders to align solutions.
• Participate actively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS and/or GCP.
• Solid understanding of modern DevOps best practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Hands‑on experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a Cloud Engineering team.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
