Demolition Estimator (Civil & Demolition Projects)

About the role

The Demolition Estimator supports tendering and project delivery by producing accurate cost estimates, job costing, and variation pricing for civil and demolition projects. Working closely with project managers and internal teams, the role ensures competitive pricing, effective cost control, and strong commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed job costings and quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Analyse project scope to identify risks, exclusions, and cost impacts.
• Develop competitive estimates for tender submissions and price variations.
• Create demolition methodologies, technical proposals, and safe sequencing plans.
• Prepare SWMS, risk assessments, ITPs, and quality assurance documentation.
• Support contract administration, invoice preparation, and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on Australian demolition or civil construction projects.
• Solid understanding of demolition processes, earthworks, and civil construction methods.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents accurately.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
