Data Engineer (Python) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with deep Python expertise to design, build, and maintain production‑grade data pipelines. The role is fully remote and supports our machine‑learning and analytics initiatives by integrating diverse external data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and orchestrate ingestion workflows for APIs, web data, and file sources.
• Handle structured and semi‑structured formats such as JSON, XML, HTML, and CSV.
• Implement resilient web‑scraping techniques, including session handling, proxies, and request automation.
• Ensure security and access compliance when integrating external data.
• Optimize SQL queries and transformations for analytical workloads.
• Design, build, and maintain robust Python‑based data pipelines.
• Apply testing frameworks and engineering best practices to guarantee reliability.
• Maintain data quality, consistency, and scalability across all workflows.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering with Python.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
