Data Engineer II

About the role

The Data Engineer II will enable decision‑ready insights by improving the usability and accessibility of enterprise data. Working with AI‑enabled tools, you will accelerate data analysis, pattern detection and documentation while ensuring human oversight for business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and execute ETL/ELT jobs aligned with functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Plan and implement data extraction, integration and ingestion processes to consolidate data from multiple sources into analyst‑ready datasets.
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to define requirements, data definitions and ownership.
• Translate business logic into structured, testable, well‑documented data models used across teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and reusable artifacts to ensure consistency.
• Improve data workflows by leveraging cost‑effective technologies, API integration, automation and AI.
• Follow data, AI usage and governance standards throughout the data value chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data management or engineering.
• Strong analytical reasoning and ability to process complex data from multiple sources.
• Comfortable using AI/automation tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python or R.
• Curiosity and discipline in adopting AI‑enabled ways of working responsibly.
