Customer Business Development Specialist – Central Visayas

About the role

The Customer Business Development Specialist will independently manage key accounts across Central Visayas, driving sales growth and ensuring effective execution of trade programs. You will act as the primary liaison between the company, its customers, and internal teams to maximise market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned key accounts, building strong relationships with influencers and branch managers.
• Achieve 100% of sales targets and optimise trade investment ROI.
• Lead monthly account engagements to drive category initiatives, promotions, new product launches and pricing updates.
• Monitor inventory, stock availability and offtake performance, identifying growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Business Units and Marketing to align on brand initiatives and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate with third‑party merchandisers to ensure execution of trade and merchandising programs.
• Provide accurate account insights for forecasting and planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• 3–6 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or consumer‑goods sector.
• Experience managing Mercury Drug branches is a strong advantage.
• Based in Central Visayas, preferably Cebu, or extensive work experience in the region.
• Proven relationship‑building, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
