Crew Travel Specialist – Cruise Administration Services

About the role

The Crew Travel Specialist ensures that all Carnival Cruise Line crew members, contractors, and concierge staff have accurate and cost‑effective travel arrangements for air, hotel, and ground transportation. The role involves handling both routine bookings and last‑minute changes while providing superior customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Confirm reservations for flights, hotels, and ground transport at the lowest possible cost.
• Obtain approvals when costs exceed established guidelines.
• Validate mandatory reservation elements and correct discrepancies.
• Secure required visas and travel letters.
• Review reports to ensure active tickets and confirmation numbers for all itineraries.
• Document all bookings thoroughly and maintain accurate logs.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Assist users with booking tools, troubleshoot issues, and monitor departmental mailboxes.
• Process last‑minute travel changes within 0‑7 days of ship assignments.
• Notify stakeholders of airline schedule changes, forced overnights, or inferior schedules.
• Handle ticket exchanges, apply administrative fees, and manage unused tickets.
• Provide re‑accommodations during flight interruptions and minimize traveler inconvenience.
• Liaise with internal departments and travel vendors, and back‑up other Travel Operations teams as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a travel agent or airline reservation center agent.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in the Philippines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with travel reservation systems, preferably Sabre.
