About the role

The Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the public image of the organization. This position requires a dynamic professional who can develop and implement effective communication strategies to boost visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will combine strong writing abilities with media relations expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers; manage press releases, inquiries, and conferences.
• Create high‑quality content for press releases, social media, and internal communications while ensuring brand consistency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather insights and align communication efforts.
• Design and execute incident and crisis communication plans to mitigate negative publicity.
• Track and analyse communication performance metrics, providing regular reports and improvement recommendations.
• Monitor traditional, online, and social media health; act as Auxiliary Governance Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in external communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strategic, proactive mindset.
• Professional writing and editing expertise, with basic knowledge of business, finance, and economics.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all management levels.
