PR and Media Manager

About the role

The PR and Media Manager will develop and execute the bank’s public relations and media engagement strategy, strengthening corporate reputation and enhancing brand visibility. Reporting to senior leadership, the role serves as the primary liaison with media outlets to ensure accurate and strategic communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual PR and media strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare integrated communication plans for campaigns, product launches, events and milestones.
• Build and maintain relationships with media partners, broadcasters and digital platforms.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media advisories, statements, fact sheets and press kits.
• Organise press conferences, media briefings and coordinate executive interviews and speaking engagements.
• Write communication materials such as executive speeches, presentation decks, opinion articles and corporate announcements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, journalism or media relations.
• Proven ability to write press releases, speeches, feature articles and manage crisis communications.
• Experience coordinating media activities and developing communication campaigns.
• Willingness to work onsite in Ortigas.
