Controller – Remote (Work from Home)

About the role

The Controller is a senior member of Moneybacker’s leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting functions while working remotely. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of financial information and provides strategic insights to executive management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and development of tax and accounts‑receivable specialists.
• Create training materials, conduct weekly 1‑on‑1 performance reviews, and address skill gaps.
• Manage reconciliation processes for bank, intercompany, and general‑ledger accounts.
• Oversee service‑fee processing, AR aging, and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual close reports and maintain QuickBooks Online (QBO) reports.
• Prepare and present financial analysis to executive leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Handle daily cash‑flow management, forecasting, and working‑capital optimization.

Required profile

• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and solid accounting or business education.
• Proven ability to lead talent acquisition, training, and performance management.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
