Commis 3 – Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Commis 3 supports daily kitchen operations, ensuring food production meets the standards set by the Chef De Partie and the overall Melco Resorts Food & Beverage vision. This role works closely with the Commis 1 and senior kitchen staff to deliver consistent quality and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef De Partie and Commis 1 in preparing and cooking menu items according to standard recipes.
• Maintain clear communication with all kitchen colleagues and report equipment defects or safety concerns.
• Follow hygiene, safety and licensing procedures, ensuring food integrity and cleanliness.
• Monitor kitchen maintenance, report accidents, and uphold hotel culinary standards.
• Control breakage, spoilage and cost items while using kitchen equipment safely.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; on‑the‑job hospitality training completed.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Willingness to work indoors and adapt to various kitchen conditions.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with the SWS system.
