Commercial Activity Leader

About the role

The Commercial Activity Leader drives store vitality across all media channels by coordinating campaigns, activities and the commercial calendar. Working closely with the commercial team, the role ensures the right product mix and compelling range presentation to attract and inspire customers.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize store campaigns, activities and the commercial calendar to increase footfall.
• Analyse market and competitor insights to secure an appropriate range mix for the national market.
• Select and present the IKEA range to reflect its breadth and depth, inspiring diverse customer tastes.
• Provide constructive feedback to store commercial activity leaders to improve the shopping experience.
• Lead and evaluate the country‑wide planning process, coordinating with selling units to maximise commercial opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate national campaigns, market‑specific activities and high‑potential product launches.
• Secure volume commitments in line with IKEA business rules, collaborating with logistics and supply teams.
• Identify and develop new commercial potential through attractive events, activities and campaigns.

Required profile

• Relevant sales experience in a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor activity and customer preferences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across commercial functions and influence selling units.
• Excellent planning, coordination and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude towards identifying new commercial opportunities.
• Capability to work closely with logistics and supply to meet volume targets.
