Cloud Release Engineer I

About the role

The Cloud Release Engineer I will support the delivery of LexisNexis Legal & Professional GTO services on the New Lexis Platform. You will act as the gatekeeper for software builds and deployments, ensuring smooth, reliable releases across frontend, Java middle‑tier, and machine‑learning components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all platform components.
• Run change‑review meetings, screen changes, and certify deployment quality.
• Lead release communications, triage incidents, and conduct post‑release retrospectives.
• Maintain release documentation and governance, schedule and coordinate multi‑application releases.
• Collaborate with IT release managers, build a release calendar, and manage project milestones.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of experience in IT or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cloud concepts (AWS, Kubernetes, Azure).
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Coralogix).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory) and release governance.
