Clinical Auditor – PH Nurse (Remote)

About the role

ISTA Solutions is seeking a licensed PH Registered Nurse to work remotely as a Clinical Auditor. You will ensure accurate clinical documentation, coding compliance, and identify reimbursement opportunities while supporting a team focused on employee satisfaction and continuous learning.

Key responsibilities

• Review ICD-10 codes to confirm correct clinical category mapping.
• Identify missed reimbursement opportunities across PT/OT, SLP, NTA, Nursing, and functional scoring.
• Ensure therapy services and clinical documentation are properly aligned.
• Utilize CMS tools, the RAI Manual, and internal protocols to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Thoroughly scrub assessments before submission for completeness and accuracy.

Required profile

• Current and valid PH RN license.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems; MDS coding is a plus.
• Strong understanding of pre-hospital patient care protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to work a shifting schedule.
