CDN Support Engineer I – Developer‑Facing Infrastructure

About the role

As a CDN Support Engineer I at bunny.net you will help developers deliver fast, reliable experiences across a global edge network of 119+ locations. You will work closely with customers, diagnose complex delivery issues and collaborate with engineering to keep the internet running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance through Zendesk and Discord, delivering clear explanations and solutions.
• Investigate caching, HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS configuration and origin connectivity problems.
• Diagnose application‑layer networking issues affecting website performance.
• Use tools such as cURL, traceroute, MTR, dig and log analysis to trace request flows and isolate production incidents.
• Monitor network health, detect delivery problems early and coordinate with Engineering and Product teams on bugs.
• Contribute to internal troubleshooting guides and customer documentation.
• Participate in shift rotation (Friday–Tuesday, 06:00–14:00 UTC+1) and cover planned or unexpected absences, receiving a shift allowance.

Required profile

• Several years of experience supporting developer‑facing infrastructure (hosting, networking, cloud or video delivery).
• Strong analytical mindset – you dig deep to understand why an issue occurred, not just how to fix it.
• Flexibility to work rotating support shifts and collaborate with senior Principal Support Engineers.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to customers.
