Business HR Assistant

About the role

The Business HR Assistant supports the HR function by handling employee inquiries, ensuring compliance with discipline policies, and driving employee engagement initiatives. This role works closely with department leaders to improve HR processes and deliver a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for all HR‑related policies and employee inquiries.
• Drive compliance on employee discipline, policies, and regulations.
• Manage complex and high‑level administrative case processes, including preparation and distribution of discipline notices.
• Prepare and update reports on attrition, case summaries, and engagement metrics.
• Conduct monthly business reviews and skip‑level sessions with department leaders.
• Facilitate employee one‑on‑one sessions and support the development of department‑specific programs.
• Oversee the employee engagement calendar, from proposal to execution and liquidation.
• Track all employee engagement activities and ensure expenses stay within approved budgets.
• Coordinate vendor transactions, ensuring clear conditions and compliance.
• Introduce innovative, digitally‑enhanced media formats for internal communication.
• Identify attrition drivers and develop solutions to reduce turnover.
• Co‑represent the company in NLRC or DOLE hearings and meetings.
• Lead the creation of internal communication content aligned with corporate strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• 1‑2 years of experience as an HR Generalist.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analytics.
