Business Development Specialist (Market Expansion & Site Acquisition)

About the role

The Business Development Specialist will lead market expansion and site acquisition initiatives for the Eternal Group, a subsidiary of ALC Group of Companies. This role focuses on identifying high‑potential locations, analyzing market dynamics, and securing land or partnership opportunities to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Research and evaluate cities or towns across the Philippines for optimal business opportunities.
• Review demographic data and competitor performance for each target region.
• Analyze the potential to develop a wide network of sales forces and assess market behavior for memorial product lines.
• Identify and negotiate land acquisitions, joint‑venture arrangements, or other strategic partnerships.
• Monitor external business offers, spot new opportunities, and provide recommendations based on thorough studies.

Required profile

• Graduate of a business‑related course.
• At least 23 years of proven experience in business development, sales, market and site expansion.
• Preferred experience in real estate, insurance, or pre‑need services.
• Strong analytical and research abilities to understand market trends.
• Clear understanding of business operations and strategy.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Existing network of contacts or community‑organizing experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Computer literate.
