Business Development Officer – Digital Marketing Agency

About the role

We are seeking a high‑energy Business Development Officer to drive B2B sales for our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate is a proactive go‑getter with a strong grasp of digital marketing solutions and a relentless drive to close deals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and engage high‑value B2B prospects across multiple industries.
• Conduct consultative selling, matching client pain points with solutions such as SEO, Paid Media, Web Development and other digital services.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach and qualification to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline data in HubSpot or a similar CRM.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospects, clients and key decision‑makers.
• Contribute to sales workflow optimisation and provide market intelligence on digital trends.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify leads, conduct discovery calls, handle objections, negotiate and close deals.
• Self‑starter with a resilient, results‑oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of SEO, Paid Media (SEM) and Web Development services.
• Experience using HubSpot or comparable CRM platforms.
