Back-End Developer – Onsite in Manila

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Back-End Developer to join its Manila team. You will design, build, and maintain robust server‑side applications and APIs that power our services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Translate business requirements into efficient server‑side logic and database structures.
• Integrate third‑party services, internal systems, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing services for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in backend development.
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Proficiency with Git and standard development workflows.
