Auxiliary Operator – Boiler & Turbine

About the role

We are looking for an Auxiliary Operator to support the safe and efficient operation of our boiler and turbine‑generator plant. The role works closely with the Control Room Engineer to manage start‑up, shutdown and abnormal conditions, ensuring compliance with all operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with the Control Room Engineer during plant start‑up, shutdown and emergency shutdown of boiler, turbine‑generator and auxiliary equipment.
• Monitor and control plant parameters following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify and respond to system abnormalities and alarms in accordance with emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safe, smooth operation of all processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related industrial discipline (licence preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a power plant or related industry, or completion of a cadetship program.
• Ability to work safely, follow SOPs and promote a strong safety culture.
• Willingness to be based in Masinloc, Zambales.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures and Emergency Response Procedures.
• Basic understanding of environmental and grid regulatory compliance.
• Capability to control plant parameters and equipment efficiently.
