Audit Associate (CPA) – Internal & External Auditing

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Audit Associate (CPA) to lead and support audit engagements across multiple business units, both local and foreign. The role involves evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits covering Sales, Marketing, Controllers, Supply, Refinery, Operations, Corporate Offices and subsidiaries (local and foreign).
• Perform business process reviews using a risk‑based approach, including process mapping and risk & control assessments.
• Design audit plans and programs and supervise audit engagements outsourced to third‑party service providers.
• Assess overall performance of auditees, evaluate internal controls, and report findings to management.
• Recommend changes to policies, systems, procedures and business processes to improve controls, profitability and productivity.
• Investigate and validate fraud‑related cases and other ad‑hoc engagements requested by management.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely closure of action steps.

Required profile

• College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in internal or external auditing or accounting.
• Additional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent is an advantage.
