Audit Associate (Advanced) - Assurance

About the role

EY Assurance is hiring an Advanced Audit Associate in Taguig, Philippines, within its Global Delivery Services (GDS) Assurance team. The role covers routine substantive and controls-based procedures for clients served by global assurance teams mainly based in the Americas and Europe. Candidates with good exposure to accounting and assurance concepts are sought, and the position is open to both CPA and non-CPA holders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality assurance deliverables in line with EY Global methodology.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of an industry or sector and awareness of technical issues or assurance risks.
• Interact regularly with the global engagement team and build a productive working relationship.
• Contribute ideas for improving the efficiency of review procedures across clients.
• Take part in calls with EY Onshore teams.
• Promote EY's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.
• Develop knowledge of EY technology and tools and share it with team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
• Open to CPA and non-CPA candidates.
• Good exposure and work experience in accounting and assurance concepts.
• Interest in business and commerciality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office (Outlook).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Logical reasoning, teamwork, multitasking and ability to work under pressure.
