Assistant Manager, Equities Operations

About the role

LSEG is hiring an Assistant Manager, Equities Operations in Manila to support the day-to-day management of Admissions activity across the LSE markets. The role provides operational oversight of admission applications, instrument and issuer reference data, regulatory and market updates and related stakeholder queries, while taking ownership of delivery, supporting team capability and acting as an escalation point for operational issues. The team works on a shift basis, 07:00 to 18:00 UK time.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Admissions Manager in running the Admissions function so applications are processed accurately and on time, and liaise with issuers, advisers and other market participants
• Maintain oversight of admission pipelines, identify risks and bottlenecks and drive timely resolution
• Manage the Manila-based Admissions team, coach and develop colleagues, plan resources and share knowledge
• Maintain a strong controls environment, drive process improvements and automation, and investigate operational issues
• Support regulatory, system and business change, including system enhancements, testing and process improvement initiatives such as Salesforce
• Represent the team in projects, working groups and stakeholder forums

Required profile

• Strong experience in a financial markets, operations, admissions, reference data or client service environment
• Solid understanding of capital markets, equities trading, admissions processes or related market operations
• Demonstrated leadership, with experience coaching, mentoring or developing colleagues
• Strong organisational skills, stakeholder management and communication skills
