Assistant Industrial Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Industrial Maintenance Supervisor supports the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring efficient upkeep of the company’s facilities, plant equipment, and machinery. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing resources, and contributing to safety and environmental initiatives across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and delegate maintenance requests from various departments.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for repair and maintenance options.
• Assist in planning personnel schedules to meet maintenance requirements.
• Support training and orientation of production staff on maintenance procedures.
• Monitor and carry out preventive maintenance of machinery in partnership with the Production Supervisor.
• Coordinate with third‑party service providers for specialized repairs.
• Participate in pollution control, environmental compliance, disaster preparedness, fire prevention, and safety programs.
• Help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or assistant supervisory role within a related field.
• Preferably extensive experience (up to 24 years) in mechanical and/or electrical repair and building maintenance.
• Strong analytical abilities and leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
