Analytics Developer – BI & Data Integration

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Developer to join our established analytics team. The role focuses on delivering BI solutions and data integrations, with occasional DBA responsibilities to ensure platform stability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and its BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDS).
• Perform project‑based work while supporting production environments, including performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security administration.
• Collaborate closely with DBAs, developers, testers, business analysts, and project managers to translate business problems into robust data solutions.
• Continuously improve the reliability and efficiency of analytics and integration platforms.
• Document solutions and manage version control using Git and change‑control processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience delivering BI solutions and data integrations within IT project teams.
• Strong technical expertise in BI development and design.
• Proven ability to understand business requirements and craft high‑quality data solutions.
• Governance mindset with experience in documentation and version/change control.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.

Required skills

• Microsoft SQL Server (performance tuning, backup/recovery, security, sp_whoisactive).
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Master Data Services (MDS).
• Git for version control of code and SSIS packages.
