Accounting Manager

About the role
The Accounting Manager leads Bo’s Coffee’s accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash management, and compliance with statutory requirements. This role supports the financial health and operational efficiency of a fast‑growing Filipino coffee brand.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely closing of books.
- Analyze financial performance, provide insights to management, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, monitoring cash flow and working capital.
- Supervise general ledger maintenance, reconcile all accounts, and align POS, sales, and bank records.
- Ensure compliance with BIR and other statutory requirements; lead internal and external audits.
- Oversee payroll processing and expense management, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the accounting team to foster professional development.
- Drive automation, process improvements, and optimal use of accounting systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred but not mandatory.
- 2–3 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
- Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, Retail, or HORECA sectors is a plus.
