Accountant – Full-Time (Cabanatuan City)

About the role

Midway Colleges is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its finance team in Cabanatuan City. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain financial records and reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis to support decision‑making.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and records.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage but not required.
