Accountant – Big Four Tax Team (Hybrid in Pampanga)

About the role

Join a pioneering tax team within a leading Big Four accounting firm and support Australian businesses on complex tax engagements. This full‑time, hybrid position based in Pampanga offers the chance to work on high‑value transactions while developing expertise beyond compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for multiple entity structures and ensure audit readiness.
• Process journal entries in client accounting systems and compile supporting workpapers.
• Draft and review Australian income tax returns for individuals and entities.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with GST and compliance requirements.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters.
• Review and organize client documentation to support advisory services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting.
• Exposure to SME and mid‑market clients with turnover between AUD 5M‑100M+.
• Experience preparing Australian financial statements, tax workpapers, and income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication abilities.
