Account Manager – Freight & Logistics

About the role

Gothong Southern Shipping Lines is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive freight revenue growth and nurture client relationships across the Philippines. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and our internal teams, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire, retain, and expand corporate freight accounts, targeting at least four new accounts per month.
• Manage the full freight cycle from booking through delivery or container withdrawal.
• Prepare competitive quotations, follow up promptly, and secure bookings.
• Process Shipper’s Agreement Forms for clients requesting credit terms.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, Land Transport, Finance, and Data teams to guarantee smooth service execution.
• Support Finance in resolving overdue accounts receivable.
• Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and generate repeat business.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to management.
• Recommend improvements to sales processes, policies, and practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in supply‑chain or logistics sales.
• Proven track record in corporate/B2B sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
