VP for Manufacturing (Food Production)

About the role

The Vice President for Manufacturing leads all food production facilities, driving strategic and operational excellence across multiple plants. This senior executive ensures safe, high‑quality, cost‑effective production while supporting the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with business goals.
• Provide executive leadership to multiple plants, standardising operational performance, productivity and quality.
• Oversee production operations, planning, scheduling and plant management.
• Lead manufacturing engineering, process improvement, lean, Six Sigma and TPM initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO and other regulatory standards.
• Manage CAPEX planning, plant expansion, capacity planning and capital projects.
• Control manufacturing budgets, cost structures and profitability targets.
• Drive organizational transformation, change management and high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology or related field; MBA preferred.
• 15‑20+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, primarily in FMCG or Food & Beverage.
• 10+ years in senior leadership or executive roles overseeing multiple plants.
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, yield, waste reduction and cost optimisation.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing large operating budgets.
