Veterinarian – Poultry Health Specialist

About the role

GAMA Foods Corporation is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Veterinarian to oversee the health, welfare, and performance of its poultry operations in Cagayan de Oro City. The role focuses on maintaining high‑quality poultry products through proactive health management and strict biosecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and implement biosecurity measures across integrated poultry facilities.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses affecting poultry.
• Provide preventive healthcare programs, including vaccinations and health monitoring.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure product quality and animal welfare.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine with relevant licenses or certifications.
• Experience in animal healthcare, veterinary diagnostics, disease prevention, and treatment.
• Background in poultry management, health monitoring, and biosecurity practices.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and animal welfare standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to onsite responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the poultry industry and food safety practices is advantageous.
