USRN Trainer – Clinical Training Specialist

About the role

The USRN Trainer delivers clinical and process training to healthcare professionals and support teams within a U.S. healthcare BPO environment. This role ensures staff acquire the knowledge and skills needed for programs such as Utilization Management, Case Management, Triage, Appeals, and Claims Review.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor‑led training for new hires and existing staff covering clinical workflows, regulations, documentation standards, and account‑specific processes.
• Deliver training for Utilization Management, Case Management, Triage, Appeals, and Claims Review using classroom, virtual, simulation, case‑study, and role‑play methods.
• Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining training materials, presentations, job aids, learning guides, and assessments.
• Apply adult‑learning principles to create engaging training experiences aligned with U.S. healthcare standards and client requirements.

Required profile

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Registered Nurse (USRN) license.
• 2–3 years of bedside clinical experience (ER, ICU, Med‑Surg, or Telemetry).
• At least 1 year of experience as a USRN Trainer in a BPO or U.S. healthcare account supporting UM, CM, Triage, Appeals, or Claims.
• Strong knowledge of MCG/Milliman Care Guidelines, InterQual criteria, HIPAA, and U.S. medical terminology.
