US Senior Tax Accountant – Remote, Flexible Schedule

About the role

We are seeking a US Senior Tax Accountant to join a small, fast‑growing CPA firm on a full‑time independent‑contractor basis. You will work remotely, providing high‑quality tax services to small‑business clients while collaborating with a supportive, close‑knit team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for a portfolio of small‑business clients.
• Conduct tax research and apply US tax regulations to deliver accurate, client‑focused solutions.
• Utilize company‑approved AI tools to draft explanations, summarize source material, and organize workpapers while maintaining professional judgment.
• Communicate tax findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies on data security and AI usage.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willing to commit exclusively to this role with no part‑time or freelance work.
• Comfortable with a flexible schedule that includes a 1–2 hour overlap with Mountain Time (starting at 6 AM PH time).
