Truck Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable trailer truck driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The role involves planning routes, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery records while ensuring cargo is properly secured.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete required logs.
• Plan and follow optimal routes using maps and GPS technology.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify cargo against paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare and file delivery documentation such as bills of lading and receipts.
• Perform basic truck and trailer maintenance tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Valid commercial driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating trailer trucks, preferably several years.
• Ability to sit for long periods and handle physical tasks, including lifting heavy items.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with dispatchers, customers, and team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GPS navigation and route planning tools.
• Basic knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance procedures.
