Travel Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Travel Consultant to manage comprehensive travel arrangements and deliver exceptional client‑centric service. The successful candidate will handle both domestic and international ticketing, ensure smooth reservations, and champion global best practices in travel and tours.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and book complete travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, car rentals and ground transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of all reservations and ticketing transactions in the system.
• Coordinate with airlines, hotels and other service providers to secure optimal rates and availability.
• Prepare and verify travel documentation such as visas, e‑tickets and itineraries.
• Provide timely assistance and support to clients before, during and after travel.
• Resolve booking issues, complaints and last‑minute changes efficiently.
• Promote and implement global best practices and standards in travel services.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in domestic and international ticketing and reservations, or recent graduate with relevant internship exposure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to high‑quality service delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one Computer Reservation System (CRS) – Sabre or Amadeus.
