Transport Coordinator

About the role

The Transport Coordinator will oversee daily dispatch and coordination of DSSI’s fleet, ensuring timely pickups, deliveries and compliance with client KPIs. The role acts as the communication hub between drivers, helpers, clients and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily Toolbox meetings for drivers and helpers.
• Align with client dispatch coordinators and booking acceptance processes.
• Coordinate resource requirements with the Regional Service Center, including driver and helper allocation.
• Serve as Superuser for the Digi haul platform, monitoring fleet performance and reporting missed targets.
• Maintain battery levels of electric vehicle units and ensure accurate real‑time fleet reporting.
• Validate pre‑ and post‑vehicle inspections and ensure 100 % truck status accuracy.
• Distribute trips fairly among drivers and enforce strict truck turnaround times.
• Track and report on customer KPI performance such as pickup, delivery and POD timeliness.
• Prepare shift handover reports and update daily activity logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in transport planning, dispatching or trucking coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency as a Superuser of the Digi haul system.
