Trade Marketing – Retail Associate (Production and Merchandising)

About the role

The Retail Associate supports the Trade Marketing team by executing promotional and merchandising plans at the outlet level. Working closely with the manager, coordinator, and sales teams, the associate ensures that campaigns, activations, and special events are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Propose and implement promotional activities, activations, and merchandising items to boost volume, margins, and brand awareness.
• Evaluate trade proposals and recommend appropriate promos, assets, and materials.
• Collaborate with the sales team to design special events and programs aligned with Marketing Division initiatives.
• Communicate, cascade, and monitor merchandising activities across all assigned outlets.
• Ensure special events and projects are executed within budget and schedule.
• Oversee product penetration and compliance with merchandising guidelines.
• Identify corrective actions for marketing program implementation and monitor consistency.
• Plan and prioritize deployment of merchandising, promotional materials, and trade assets.
• Monitor trade assets, coordinate repairs, and manage asset movements.
• Prepare and submit closure reports for each activity.
• Analyze activity indicators and recommend competitive, cost‑effective strategies.
• Participate in annual business planning for merchandising materials and trade assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Preferable experience in petroleum, automotive retail, convenience retailing, or FMCG industries.
