Tooling Design Engineer

About the role

The Tooling Design Engineer will design, develop and improve tooling and molds for our injection‑molding production lines. Based on‑site in Mabalacat, the role works closely with manufacturing and mechanical engineering teams to ensure designs meet quality, cost and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update 2D/3D CAD models and detailed drawings for molds, jigs and fixtures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, mechanical engineering and cross‑functional stakeholders to align designs with production requirements.
• Participate in tooling trials, troubleshoot issues and implement design modifications to boost efficiency and product performance.
• Ensure designs comply with GD&T, stress analysis, tolerancing and other engineering standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to meet delivery targets.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in tooling design, including molds, jigs and fixtures.
• Background in manufacturing engineering and injection molding processes.
• Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles such as stress analysis and tolerancing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in high‑volume manufacturing, preferably in electronics or automotive sectors (advantageous).
