Telecommunications Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join its Buildings business in Manila. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design, coordinate and deliver ICT, ELV and telecommunications solutions for complex building and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and coordinate ICT, ELV and telecommunications systems, including structured cabling, networking, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, access control, AV and smart‑building technologies.
• Manage multiple work packages and ensure seamless integration with MEP, architectural and civil disciplines.
• Review design documentation, oversee contractor coordination and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver high‑quality technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in ICT, ELV, telecommunications or systems‑engineering projects.
• Experience with data centres, large‑scale commercial buildings or complex infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as BICSI, CCNA, CWNP or ITS are preferred.
