Technical Engineer – AWS Certified (40‑45k)

About the role

The Technical Engineer will provide expert technical support and design solutions for clients, ensuring successful implementation, maintenance, and ongoing performance of hardware, software, and network systems. The role requires strong problem‑solving abilities and collaboration with both internal teams and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networking components.
• Deliver Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
• Analyse technical problems, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Work with clients to gather requirements and design tailored technical solutions.
• Document procedures, user manuals, and system configurations.
• Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure reliability and performance.
• Provide training and guidance to end‑users on system functionalities.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and tools to improve service delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Level 2 technical support or engineering roles.
• Willingness to travel or work on‑site as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification.
• Solid understanding of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience with technical documentation and reporting tools.
