Team Manager – Accounts Payable

About the role

As a Team Manager at Acquire BPO, you will lead an Accounts Payable (AP) team, acting as the subject‑matter expert for all AP processes. You will drive performance, ensure timely payments, and support continuous improvement across the function.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coaching to AP staff, prioritising tasks and driving process improvements.
• Oversee cash‑flow reporting, ensure accurate and timely payments, and reconcile AP totals with the general ledger.
• Develop and maintain system documentation for all AP functions.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet campaign and business needs.
• Facilitate performance reviews, development plans, and coaching sessions.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with month‑end close deadlines.
• Develop, drive, and report on team KPIs.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting.
• Experience in AP end‑to‑end processes, preferably within a multinational BPO or shared‑service environment.
• Proven ability to manage performance, handle escalations, and lead process migrations or transitions.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
